Dr. Heo
earned his Ph.D. degree from Ajou University School of Medicine.
The title of his Ph.D. thesis was “Regulation of DNA-PKcs-mediated immune signaling by the E3 ligase MARCH5 in mitochondria-damaged cells.”
At the ATM lab, Dr. Heo’s primary responsibilities are
(1) investigating the role of mitochondrial damage in senescent tumor cells and
(2) exploring the underlying signaling cascades in senescent tumor cells.

Mr. Bae earned his B.S. degree from Yonsei University.
At the ATM lab, Bae’s primary responsibility is to uncover the cancer-promoting traits of senescent tumor cells in gastric cancer.

At the ATM lab, Yu’s primary responsibility is to unveil the phenotypic diversity of senescent tumor cells based on their microsatellite stability.
